Greens and Mozzarella Salad - Lufthansa Europe Business Class
I have not been paid by any entity in any way (financially, benefits) to write the following post.
BOS-SFO, SFO-TPE, TPE-HKG, HKG-FRA, FRA-HAM
After enjoying the Lufthansa First Class Terminal, I made my way to my new Hamburg flight via a luxury Mercedes-Benz sedan, provided by the FCT.

I was personally escorted by the chauffeur from the FCT to the door of the aircraft, where I was greeted by the flight attendants and shown to my seat for this short hop to Hamburg!

Seeing that I was among the last to board, the crew finished their final checks, closed the door, and we were on our way!

I had a chance to see some of the jumbo planes we passed on the car ride to the flight. I wonder where they were heading?

As we neared the runway, I got a chance to take a candid shot of a 747 lifting off to an unknown destination!

We were next to roar into the sky, and it was absolutely a beautiful day to be flying!
I was flying Lufthansa’s inter-Europe Business Class, which is effectively economy with the middle seat blocked. I was fortunate to not have anyone else sitting in my row, so it made getting in and out fairly easy! The drawback was having the bulkhead, which limited my legroom.

Once in the air, we encountered some turbulence that delayed service. Once we passed the chop though, the flight attendants were efficient and executed the service.

We were served a fresh salad that was accompanied by a roll and a lovely mango dessert. Being a frequent flyer from the United States, it amazes me that on this hour long flight, European airlines serve a meal to Business/First class passengers. For me, it goes a long ways!
Soon after, we were descending into the Hamburg area, thus bringing this journey that started in Boston to a close. We came in for a smooth landing at my final destination.
Verdict:
The flight was fine, nothing quite special in terms of the hard product (seat). The crew and food were phenomenal though, especially with the limited time!
This trip was amazing. Everyone at every stop, on every airline and every flight was phenomenal. It goes a long ways to be kind to the people working behind the scenes to make your journey safe and enjoyable.
I am fortunate to have flown United’s new Polaris Business Class on the new B777-300ER, EVA Air for the first time, and Lufthansa’s First Class product. The amenities on the ground, like the Polaris Lounge at SFO, the EVA Air Infinity Lounge in Taipei, the Singapore SilverKris Lounge in Taipei, the United Global First Lounge and Singapore First Class Lounge in Hong Kong were amazing, in addition to Lufthansa’s legendary First Class Terminal in Frankfurt. And all for a fraction of the price!
Thanks for joining me on this journey in luxury!
