Nothing to end summer vacation like a hop across the pond (the bigger pond) to visit one of the most sought places on earth: Bangkok, Thailand.
At the time of writing, United Airlines currently has a heavily discounted fare from Harlingen to Bangkok for $571! That is an unbeatable price to get to the capital of Thailand, saving you a ton of money that you can spend in this relatively affordable tourist destination.
I checked on United’s website just to make sure it wasn’t a mistake fare, or a fare that looks like it’s real but isn’t. Fortunately, it let me buy the ticket, meaning that this it isn’t a mistake!

There is so much to do in Bangkok that I couldn’t possibly begin to scratch the surface! Having been in 2018, I can guarantee that you will find something interesting to do for a low price, thanks to the exchange rate!
Also, if you’re looking for hotels, I recommend using Google Hotels or Airbnb in the Bangkok area to find the best place in your budget! Google Hotels will take the prices from all the hotels in the area for the dates you input, and give you the cheapest options based on your preferences.
